    IDENTITY OF THE DATA CONTROLLER

    With respect to personal data collected via the Platform, the data controller is ELFI Legal Finance International, residing at Goudse Rijweg 382, 3031 CK Rotterdam/Netherlands. By using the Platform, the user irrevocably accepts, declares, and undertakes that their data may be processed within the framework of this policy.

    CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED

    During service provision, the Platform processes the following data categories in accordance with the principle of “compliance with the law and rules of good faith”:

    • Identity and Contact Information: Name, surname, email address, phone number.

    • Professional Data: Company title, job description (to the extent submitted via contact forms).

    • Transaction Security Information: IP address, log records, device information, cookie data.

    • Legal Transaction Data: Case summaries and legal document contents shared via contact forms or during consultation requests.

    LEGAL GROUNDS AND PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING

    Your personal data are processed pursuant to Article 5 of the KVKK and Article 6 of the GDPR for the following purposes:

    • Establishment and Performance of a Contract: Provision of requested legal and financial consultancy services.

    • Legal Obligations: Fulfillment of information requests from judicial authorities and maintenance of official records.

    • Legitimate Interests: Ensuring Platform security, enhancing service quality, and optimizing user experience.

    • Explicit Consent: Consents obtained from the user for the dispatch of newsletters or commercial electronic messages.

    TRANSFER OF DATA AND THIRD PARTIES

    Exclusively for the fulfillment of the aforementioned purposes, your personal data may be transferred, subject to non-disclosure agreements and technical measures, to:

    • Competent public institutions and organizations within the scope of legal obligations,

    • Strategic solution partners required for service delivery (legal counsels, independent auditors, technical infrastructure providers),

    • Relevant international business partners within the scope of cross-border cooperation (eLFi, etc.).

    DATA SECURITY AND RETENTION PERIOD

    The Platform implements technical and organizational measures, such as SSL certificates, encryption, and regular database audits, to prevent the unlawful processing of and unauthorized access to personal data. Data are retained for the periods stipulated by the relevant legislation or for as long as necessary for the processing purpose; upon expiry of these periods, they are erased, destroyed, or anonymized.

    RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

    Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK and the relevant provisions of the GDPR, users have the right to:

    • Learn whether personal data are processed,

    • Request information if data have been processed,

    • Request the rectification of incomplete or inaccurate data,

    • Request the erasure or destruction of data (Right to be Forgotten),

    • Object to any result that arises to their detriment through the analysis of data exclusively by automated systems.

    EFFECTIVENESS AND AMENDMENTS

    This Policy enters into force on the date of its publication on the Platform. The Platform reserves the right to unilaterally update this text to ensure compliance with changing legislative provisions.
